Pony Rides & Birthday Party FAQs

  • Are the Pony Rides outdoors or in a ring?
    • Our pony rides are outdoors, and are run like a mini trail ride along the edge of the property. The kids will get to have a lovely scenic ride without leaving the farm.
  • What is the maximum group size for pony rides?
    • We can take a maximum of 5 ponies at a time. For groups of 1-5 children we will do 30 minute rides. For parties of 6-10 children, we will do 2 sets of 15 minute rides.
  • Can I book a 15 minute ride and extend it on the day of if my child is really enjoying themselves?
    • Our rides are kept on a tight schedule, so unfortunately we are unable to make last minute ride extensions.
  • What length of ride is best for my child?
    • It really varies according to the individual. We have had 3 year olds who wanted to keep riding after 30 minutes, and 10 year olds who were ready to hop off after 15 minutes. 
  • I’m booking a birthday party, can the other parents drop their kids off before the ride?
    • To help make the rides go smoothly, we require one adult per child to attend the ride and assist with leading the pony. The guide will give instructions on how to lead ponies/horses before the ride, and we will all set out together.
  • If we’re renting the lounge, do we get exclusive use of the space?
    • Due to the layout of the barn & lounge, the public washrooms are located inside the lounge. As such, other staff, students and guests are permitted to have access to the washrooms inside the lounge at all times.
  • Can we rent the ponies to come to a party at a separate location?
    • Due to the volume of demand of our on-site pony rides, we are not offering off-site pony rides at this time.
