Our Saddle Club Program is a beginner-friendly program for boys and girls ages 7 to 14. Saddle Club is spent in the barn and riding arenas with the horses, ponies and coaches. Students partake in a group riding lesson, accompanied with a hands on theory lesson. The theory component is comprised of horsemanship, stable management, grooming, tacking, basic medical and nutrition. Please note that the session is catered for beginner riders, but if the same group of students sign up for multiple sessions, we can customize the difficulty level. If you have a group of 5 friends, we will make a best attempt to arrange a private group session. This ideal for older age groups.
The goal of our programming is to introduce riders to equestrian safety practices, develop basic riding skills such as balance, control, comfort and confidence. Our Saddle Club is a hands on program designed to facilitate a safe and fun introduction into the equestrian world. Students are encouraged to attend multiple sessions of saddle club before graduating into our semi-private or private lessons.
*Note for homeschoolers and online educators*
We are looking to establish a mid-day weekly program similar to Saddle Club that will incorporate aspects of the Ontario school curriculum. We need a commitment of 4 students to register.
