PONY RIDES
Come take a pony ride on our lovely ponies for those 2 years old and up. These rides are a great way for kids to experience the thrills of horse-back riding in a safe, controlled and laid back environment outside. Helmets are included in the fee. If you have your own helmet, bike helmets do not qualify. It has to be a safety helmet that comes down the back of the head, like a snow/ski/ skateboarding helmet. But do not worry we have proper equestrian helmets.

Children will need a parent/guardian to lead the horse at a walk for child if the child can’t remain upright another guardian is required. Everyone must wear closed-toed shoes, preferably with a small heel of 1-1/2 to prevent slipping (examples: Blundstones, Doc Martens, hiking boots, rubber boots etc). and long pants only to avoid pinching and chafing from the saddle.

We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your departure time to complete the sign in process including helmet fitting, waiver & payment.

As a group, the pony guide will be given instruction to parents/guardians on how to lead the pony so that you can participate in leading the horse with the group. This helps to ensure social distancing. This is a great opportunity for you to be involved in the experience. Closed-toed shoes must also be worn on the ground around the ponies by all guardians and spectators.

Don’t forget to pause to take pictures. Feel free to share on social media #CRHBA

HORSE RIDES
Horse Rides on the lead line are available for adults and bigger youth. This is the same cost as pony rides. This is a great alternative to trail rides or the tender hearted that still wants bragging rights that you got on a horse. A maximum weight of 245 lbs. For those adults and mature youth 12 and up looking for a bit more adventure, have a look at the trail rides.

Closed-toed shoes preferably with a small heel of 1-1/2 inches to prevent slipping (examples: Blundstones, Doc Martens, hiking boots, rubber boots etc). and long pants only to avoid pinching and chafing from the saddle.
